I'll have the slide milled at some point and save another few tenths of an inch.Īs long as it holds up for the long haul-and this sight has been on the market essentially unchanged for. I switch to the JPoint from a DeltaPoint Pro mounted on an Outer Impact mount, and while the JP is lower, it's not as much as it could be. 5 ounce and designed with a minuscule footprint, the lineage of this tiny red dot is simple: JP Enterprises. That's not a huge deal-they're under $5-but it does add some height to the overall package. One such optic is the JPoint from JP Enterprises. I needed 1 to get my elevation correct on an XD Mod.2 4". I bought the 3-pack of 1 degree shims when I bought the sight, and am glad I did. What's not to like? As mentioned by many others, it doesn't have enough travel in the elevation settings. I've had it on the gun for a few weeks, and only have a few hundred rounds through it, but it's fast and accurate. I like the always-on functionality, and the auto-adjust seems to work well thus far. ![]() I own a Burris FastFire III and the DeltaPoint Pro both are good sights, but both dots are more blob-like compared to the JPoint. Finally, it has the clearest dot of any I've seen to date. ![]() But the base of the sight is much lower than a DP Pro, so it doesn't sit as high on the gun, a big plus for EDC. It's about as tall as a DeltaPoint Pro window, though not quite as wide. Second, while very small, it has a large window. This sight doesn't change the cyclic feel of the gun at all. Because it's made from glass-filled nylon, it weighs almost nothing.
